In an effort to bring awareness to the vastly mounting criminal acts of sexual assaults. AFCO Global Solutions has partnered with Gracie Jiu Jitsu family who created the Gracie Defense Systems (GDS). The program is designed to increase self-confidence in potential victims and provide predator awareness strategies. GDS is a comprehensive self-defense program for military members based on proven verbal, physical, and psychological self-defense strategies that have been developed and refined for two decades.
GDS targets victim awareness strategies through identification of the four phases of sexual assault: identify unsuspecting target, subdue the target, exhaust the target and execute the sexual assault. Creating “Hard Targets” is the goal of GDS and the self-defense techniques learned are used as a last resort if awareness strategies fail. AFCO Global and the Gracie family is committed to assisting all potential targets of sexual assaults and providing Certification seminar training throughout the government.
